I am a Marketing Faculty at San Francisco State University (SFState). I grew up in several parts of India and now call the San Francisco Bay Area my home. I love San Francisco and feel passionately about it much like I feel passionately about Bangalore (in India) where I spent most of my time growing up. Come explore more about me and my work with this website.
Everyone has a superpower and my superpower and passion is research about new products and innovation (at the individual or at the organizational level). In this realm primary scholarly interest lies in the area of New Product Development (NPD). So anything new in technology, design, or the benefits these bring to users AND the greater society piques my interest. Some notable topics of interest include but are not limited to, product design, aesthetics, knowledge management, acquisition and in-licensing innovation among others and research methodology using multivariate statistical techniques such as Structural Equation Modeling and Multilevel Modeling.
I have worked for or consulted with firms such as Novo Nordisk, Daiichi Sankyo, Schering Plough (Now Merck), Medtronic, Glaxo Smithkline, among others on sales and marketing projects for over 10 years. Please click here for a more detailed account of industry experience.
